MY LEG. This was an excellent final showdown Rose not knowing the evil that lurks in this hotel and what it does to psychics Hell of a comeuppance. This scene gave me full body chills over and over. My favorite 'trap' scene in any movie, I think. That kid WRECKED her. I think the most entertaining part about The Shining and Doctor Sleep, is it's like an actual War between Good and Evil. You have ghosts on both sides fighting each other which makes it so much more powerful when you see Evil defeated. Hallorann was one of my favorite characters in both films. but I REALLY love how Danny Torrance grew up to use his pain and trauma to help others (using his same skills. In a way it's like a Superhero film. SOME SHINE, and some don't.

Ok but the fact that Abra is using an anime reference while beating True Knot ass is pretty iconic. 3:17 I will always love that woman. Despite age, or mental deterioration or whatever that poor soul is going through, Shelley will always be that beautiful, talented, sweet and intelligent lady Ive admired my whole life. ❤️ Her creating Faerie Tale Theatre and performing as Olive Oil brought me so much joy as a child. Abra is soooo badass. I love her. Never in my life did I think Id ever see The Shining characters in a freaking Mountain Dew commercial. The Kubrick ghosts were starving I know, mustve been really thirsty as well. Really loved the film Had everything I needed including closure for these series of films.

Rose cringes when she saw what Danny's past at the Overlook Hotel consisted of. Including his own father with an axe trying to kill him. Rose should've run away since Dan already got the high ground on the stairs. 🤦‍♂️. Looks very, very, very interesting. The Shining is one of the best films ever. When you find out you're 1% Kubrick. Love this so much, but hard not to look past the bloody nose in relation to Eleven. 1980 - Here's Johnny! 2019 - Hello there! v. This must have made King happy to see the Overlook burn how he intended in the original book.
